Request a Housing Referral
Introduction
When your housing program has a vacancy, you should request a referral from the North Dakota Continuum of Care’s Priority List Manager.
Data Entry Steps
There is no action to take in HMIS; instead, you need to contact the North Dakota Continuum of Care’s Priority List Manager to request a referral. They will share the client ID number of the person being referred to your program, which you will use to record the referral's outcome.
What Comes Next?
The Priority List Manager will create a Coordinated Entry Event in the record of the client being referred to your program. Your first task in HMIS will be to update that event to acknowledge you have received the referral.
